In This FAQ we hope to provide you with aswers to questions you might have about Memortu.com and our service.

Do I have to pay for a memory or memorial site at Memortu.com?
No, you don’t. Creating a memory and using Memortu.com is free.

Do I have to be related in order to create a memory?
No. I f you miss someone or want to pay your respect by creating a memory you can. Memory is about remembering the people you want to remember.

There are commercials adds displayed on my memory. How can I remove them?
There might appear some adds on the memory. We do this to keep the service free. The only way to make sure your memory doesn’t have adds displayed is to place a gift like a regular visitor.

Can visitors add things on my memory that I don’t like?
Yes they can. But you, provided you are the webmaster, can delete them or switch it to “offline”, so its no longer displayed on your memory. Every time a visitor posts someting you will be notified.

Can I make a memory for an animal?
No, not on Memortu.com. But we are working on a version that is only for animals so you can also remember you pet.

What kind of charity organisations (NGO’s) are selected by Memortu.com?
Because there are thousands of NGO’s we have made a selection of organisations that have different fields of expertise like Environmental care, Human rights and International aid. This way we hope our webmasters have enough organisations to choose from.

How much is donated to charity?
Half of the amount that is paid for gifts is donated to charity.

What happens with the money that is donated?
The money we collect for the charity organisations will be transferred to there bank account every trimester.

Can I make more then one memory?
Yes. If you want to remember more than one person you can. Just add an other memory by signing up with the same e-mail address.

How do I report abuse?
When you think a memory is not created with the right intentions you can report it here. Once reported. Memortu.com can undertake appropriate action.

Can there be more then one memory of the same person?
Yes. A person can be remembered in many different ways by different people. All names of memories are unique. So you can never have two memories with the same name.

Can another webmaster link automatically to a memory I've created?
No. You first receive an e-mail to approve and confirm. Before that there is no link made between your memories.

Will empty or unused blocks be displayed on my memory?
No. A block that you are not using will not be displayed on you memory.

How do I get in touch with Memortu.com?
